This week’s review will be on Instasaver For Instagram. The app is located on Google Play ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skwirrl.instasaver&hl=en.)
The design is perfect for their designated target audience. The only possible change to the design would be to make an overlay that opens within or on top of Instagram itself, but the company (Now Facebook) doesn’t allow this for security reasons. The navigation is clearly set. Copy the share URL from IG, past it into Instasaver, download the content of the post. The only graphics are a simple instruction sheet to tell you how to use the app in IG. Simple and setup for when you need more content to post on your own social networking sites. All aspects of navigation are perfect for touch screen devices. No design flaws that I’ve seen. As of yet this app has not let me down.
The flow of the design looks to be set clearly and well defined so that user can intuitively navigate it.
Make important things fast, under Make Me Amaz1ing. The setup of the app is in such a way that it starts at the MOST used object of design, which is a text box to past the URL into. Sho1rtly after it will show you the post’s data so you can download it directly to your phone to repost.
